How We Started
AHP, Inc. partnered it's LunchBox Project with Rendon Trading to participate in the implementation of School-Based Feeding Program for the Department of Education. AHP, Inc. tapped different DOST clients & DOST-FNRI technology adapters to promote collaboration in order to supply the SBFP requirements
The First Innovation
LunchBox Project of AHP, Inc. pioneered the innovation of nutritious food packs utilizing DOST-FNRI Rice-Mongo Blend technology through the assistance of DOST-III -PSTO Bulacan where community partners & farmers were the project beneficiaries . This was also the time that the innovated Rice-Mongo-based and local vegetable-based Nutripacks were introduced to DepEd for inclusion in the SBFP & the National Feeding Program menu.
Partnerships Forged
DOST Central Luzon through DOST PSTO Bulacan granted funding for the upgrading of AHP, Inc LunchBox Project -aimed at enhancing the products development, acquisition of additional equipment and forgoing partnerships with local farmers & livelihood community beneficiaries for the raw materials while continuously expanding the product innovations.
The National Funding
Through the Philippine Council for Innovation, DOST-PCIEERD, the LunchBox Project was granted national funding under Women-Helping Women Innovating Social Enterprise Program -to enhance the food innovation processes and further support the community beneficiaries. Through this funding, we were able to fund communities that pre-process the local raw materials as ingredients needed for the creation of Nutripacks. This year, the number of end-users or feeding program implementers patronizing LBP innovations continues to grow.
The Incorporation
Nutripacks Philippines name was approved under IPOPHL as the official trademark for AHP, Inc-LunchBox Project. To further focus on the product innovations, on 08/17/2023 Nutripacks Philippines Corporation was formed and registered under SEC to mainly operate the manufacturing processes & activities of AHP, Inc. innovations.
DOST Central Luzon CEST Program [EFR Facilities] Partnership
AHP has been appointed by DOST Central Luzon to enhance the sustainability of the DOST CEST Program. This initiative aims to provide beneficiaries from seven provinces in Central Luzon with a sustainable market for their products, produced through the DOST RGIA-funded Emergency Food Reserve Processing Facilities. Each province has identified community beneficiaries and specific agricultural crops for processing. AHP’s role includes integrating market potential and capacity building to ensure the project’s success.

Partnership that Works: DOST III, CLSU and Actions Hub Philippines Trained BKFA Farmers on Mushroom Production & Camote Processing
As part of the Community Empowerment through Science and Technology (CEST) Program of the Department of Science and Technology Region III (DOST III), a training on Mushroom and Camote Processing was successfully conducted last May 8, 2025 at the EFR Facility, Sitio Sulucan, Brgy. Balaong, San Miguel, Bulacan. This initiative, funded under the CEST Program, aims to uplift communities through science-based interventions, including the provision of the Enhanced Food Resource (EFR) Equipment for the processing of local produce.

The DOST Provincial Science and Technology Office of Nueva Ecija (DOST PSTO-Nueva Ecija), in partnership with the Central Luzon State University College of Home Science and Industry (CLSU-CHSI) and Actions Hub Philippines, conducted a training session on vegetable processing for members of the Rural Improvement Club of Talavera (RIC) in Brgy. Tabacao, Talavera, Nueva Ecija on March 13, 2025.

The Central Luzon State University – Center for Tropical Mushroom Research and Development (CLSU-CTMRD) successfully conducted a three-day Intensive Training on Mushroom Pharming from February 21 to 23, 2025. The event gathered participants from various sectors, including private enterprises, students, and local government unit. Attendees came from various municipalities in Nueva Ecija, neighboring provinces in Region 3 such as Bulacan, as well as from Sta. Rosa City, Laguna, outside the region.
